Supporting education through meaningful travel.

At InContext DMC, we believe that meaningful travel should contribute positively to the destinations we visit. Through our partnership with the Montecito Foundation, we support initiatives that strengthen environmental stewardship, community engagement, and sustainable development in the Andean regions of Colombia.

Founded in 2010, the Montecito Foundation is a Colombian family-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable and harmonious relationships between communities and their natural environments. Working primarily in the Andean regions of Boyacá and Santander, the foundation focuses on strengthening local governance, environmental education, and the conservation of wetlands, forests, and private nature reserves.

The foundation also supports sustainable and conscious tourism, creating meaningful experiences that connect visitors with the region’s natural and cultural heritage while generating benefits for local communities and helping safeguard these landscapes for future generations. By 2030, Montecito aims to be a recognized leader in building communities that thrive in harmony with their ecosystems through collaboration, education, and shared responsibility.

This collaboration allows our travelers to connect more deeply with the landscapes, ecosystems, and communities that make Colombia unique, while contributing to long-term conservation efforts, environmental education programs, and local governance initiatives. Together, we promote a model of responsible tourism that creates lasting value for both visitors and host communities, helping preserve Colombia’s natural and cultural heritage for future generations.

Swakai Foundation

Through our partnership with the Swakai Foundation, we create meaningful connections and contribute to positive social impact by suporting community initiatives that foster well-being, personal development, and opportunities for children, youth, and families in Bogotá.

Founded in 2019 in Ciudad Bolívar, Swakai Foundation uses sports as a tool for social transformation. Through its Kyrios Club Football School, the organization currently supports more than 150 children and 80 families, promoting inclusion, personal growth, and community engagement. The foundation is also expanding its work to include art, music, and urban agriculture, creating diverse spaces where individuals can learn, express themselves, and develop new skills.
